The practical portion includes demonstrating the ability to safely maneuver the VRLT through a series of obstacles.
Skilled Operator: has at least 100 hours of recent experience operating a Variable Reach Lift Truck.
The skilled operator will demonstrate their ability to operate the Variable Reach Lift Truck safely and efficiently through a series of driving and operating exercises. Practical assessments take approximately 20-30 minutes.
Skilled operators may complete certification on multiple pieces of equipment on the same day through our Powered Mobile Equipment Program.
New Operator: does not have over 100 hours of recent experience operating a Variable Reach Lift Truck. This course is intended for those needing the training required to meet the basic and knowledge to operate a VRLT safely.
They will gain about 2-3 hours of operating experience on the piece of equipment; demonstrating their ability to operate the equipment safely and efficiently through a series of driving and operating exercises.
