Hair Specimen Collection Training (Omega Laboratories) 2024

This course was developed in accordance with Omega Laboratories testing standards and acceptable protocols. 

Course Objectives

1. Explain the advantages and limitations of hair follicle drug testing.
2. Conduct the Omega 10-step hair follicle collection procedure. 
3. Prepare the testing site and participant for hair sample collection. 
4. Document the collection information on the Omega Custody and Control Form, as well as on the SureHire Drug Test Form.

The Hair Specimen Collection Training course, including the assessment, will take approximately 1 hour for students to complete.

Students must complete an end-of-course assessment and achieve a passing grade of at least 80% to be awarded a training certificate. Students will receive a maximum of three attempts to pass the assessment.
